Ryan Stangle
President
After working successfully in the benefits industry, Ryan saw the need to start a company that could offer more strategic benefit solutions, while providing world-class service to their clients year around. Setting out to do just that, he founded Chesapeake Benefits, Inc. in 2005. With just one computer and not a single client, Ryan had something more important - vision. He knew what was lacking in the benefits arena, and he stepped in to fill it. Since opening its doors, Chesapeake Benefits has seen tremendous growth. The continued success is a result of under promising, over delivering, and always having his client’s best interests in mind. Due to their recent growth, he has recently has moved their offices to Eastport, at the mouth of the Severn River and Back Creek, close to downtown Annapolis.

- Played Football for UD, where he was Captain of the team, in addition to being named All-Conference, Academic All-Conference, and All-American Honorable Mention. He also won the Lt. Andy Zulli Award for showing outstanding character, sportsmanship, and leadership on and off the field.
Besides his clientele at Chesapeake Benefits, Ryan is a committed husband and father of two young boys.

Kate Noble
Benefits Consultant
Kate was born and raised in Annapolis, MD. She is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park and comes to us with 6 years of sales and customer service experience. She joined Chesapeake Benefits in 2009 and has been very successful bringing in new clients and developing strong relationships with them. She earns her client's trust and respect quickly with her knowledge and attention to detail. She is very passionate about this industry and doing what is right for the client.
Kate was recently married in May 2011 and enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Sheri Kern
Service Account Manager
Over the course of Sheri’s career she has worked in administration and management within both large companies and small firms. Additionally, she has used her organizational skills volunteering within various non-profit organizations both in the U.S and while living abroad. For the past 10 years she worked corporate, human resources and FSO administration for government contractors. Sheri’s knowledge combined with depth of experience provides a unique understanding of the client’s perspective and concerns. As Chesapeake Benefit’s Service Account Manager, Sheri keeps customer service and satisfaction as her first priority.
Originally from Wisconsin, she remains a Packer fan, devoted mother of two and has embraced the Annapolis area as her home. Sheri completed an Associates degree in Business Management, facility security officer training, and has earned an instructor’s certificate from the Ichiyo School of Ikebana, Tokyo, Japan. She is a member of SHRM and an accomplished watercolor artist.

Brady Stanton
Benefits Consultant
Brady was born and raised in Annapolis, MD and grew up sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. He attended Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, NC where he played varsity lacrosse and was appointed to the NCAA Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Before joining Chesapeake Benefits, Brady earned many achievements working as an insurance producer on the top Aflac team in the country. During his tenure, he was named Number One Rookie Associate and qualified for the National Convention. He attributes his success to developing client strong relationships and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
Brady enjoys spending time with his family, including the newest addition, daughter Lilia.

Kathryn Phillips
Benefits Consultant
Kathryn joined the Chesapeake Benefits team in 2011, bringing with her eight years of sales and customer service experience across various fields. With great rapport, she has proven in a short time that she excels at bringing in clients and building genuine relationships. She always has a smile on her face and loves helping out clients.
With a husband and twins at home, she loves to spend time with her family. She is also a certified personal trainer and loves to stay busy.

Leslie White
Benefits Consultant
Leslie came to Chesapeake Benefits after a successful 10 year career at Paychex Inc. where she held the title of Senior Sales Representative managing an impressive 800 clients in the Annapolis area alone. Responsible for successfully setting up over 2,000 business clients for her former employer, Leslie has demonstrated the experience necessary to deliver the “customer first” service that is the benchmark of Chesapeake Benefits, Inc. Her tenure in the industry has allowed her to build a wide network of relationships in all business areas including banking, accounting, and business law. In addition to her broad based benefits knowledge, she has expertise in the areas of human resources, accounting, business start up procedures, and current tax rules and regulations.
